# Vision DAO Governance

OpenVision’s governance is structured around a community-driven DAO, ensuring long-term

decentralization, transparent evolution, and ecosystem stewardship.

* **Stake-Weighted Voting:** Token holders can propose and vote on protocol upgrades,

  reward adjustments, and treasury spending via on-chain governance portals.
* **Proposal Templates:** Community tools and templates make it easy for new users to

  submit protocol change suggestions, including emission tweaks and validator

  onboarding.
* **Governance Delegates:** Voters can delegate their $VISION to trusted stewards or

  domain experts, fostering professional proposal curation.
* **Treasury Oversight:** DAO controls funding allocation for R\&D grants, community
  \
  initiatives, and emergency reserves via multi-sig and on-chain logic
* **Progressive Decentralization:** Early governance may involve progressive handoff

  from core team to DAO via milestone-based unlocks.
